Thanks for visiting my blog! I began my journey to becoming a certified birth doula after my first daughter was born by unplanned cesarean section in 2002. In 2005, I gave birth to my son with the help of an amazing doula who believed that my body could birth normally and naturally. I became a Lamaze Certified Childbirth educator in 2007 after my second VBAC at Alta Bates and a DONA certified birth doula in 2012. I have been attending births since 2009 across the Bay Area.
